Xander is an Alexandrine Parakeet (Psittacula eupatria). Alexandrines are the largest parakeet species. Xander is about 20 inches from beak to tail and he is still growing. Adults can grow to over 2 feet long.
Xander is quite tame. He enjoys eating breakfast with Debbie, hanging out with a group a visitors, or eating snacks while perched on top of the office computer.

Klee is named after artist Paul Klee. He is a male red sided Eclectus Parrot although it is difficult to tell from his markings. Eclecus subspecies have different colors in the females but not the males. Klee is a medium sized bird and a good deal larger than Xander.
